Our students learn not just for the next lesson or next test—but for a lifetime. When called upon to demonstrate knowledge and skills, our students’ outstanding performances show that they are prepared.
At our two schools, BBL 1 and BBL 2, our students’ standardized test results are among the highest across New York State in both math and language arts.
We resist excessive test-drilling and the pressures that come with it. Yet in 2019, our students, 80% of whom are from low-income families, outperformed students in New York state’s wealthy districts—proof that the wealth gap can be closed.
