Anne Clarke-Raysor
Principal Clarke-Raysor, an educator for thirty four years, has long advocated for individualized learning and has taught students from PreK to 8th grade in Science and English Language Arts. Her career has seen her teaching at the Jefferson School in New Rochelle, at Mount Tom Day School, and at The Chapel School, in Bronxville, where she restructured the science curriculum and served as the science leader for kindergarten through grade five.
The daughter of Jamaican immigrants, Anne learned early on the importance of education. She joined Bronx Better Learning eight years ago as a 4th Grade English Language Arts teacher at BBL1, and upon the establishment of BBL2 in 2018 was appointed Principal.
She holds a degree in Business Administration from Clark University, a Master of Science in Education for Reading from the City University of New York at Lehman College, and a Master of Science in Education for Elementary Education from the City University of New York at City College.
